Adoption Fees
Our adoption fees are set each year. As prices go up at vets, our prices have to go up as well. Most low income clinics do not allow rescues to use their services so we may pay full price for spay/neuter & vaccinations. We do not have a Vet on staff like some of the larger rescues. We do also spend as much time with our spicy kittens to turn them into our comfort kitties so this does take time but also cost more money.
Chocolate Point or Seal Point $250
Lilac or Blue Point $250
Blue Point Snowshoe (standard) $250
Seal Point Snowshoe (standard) $250
Siamese Mixes: (other than above) $200 ( Short hair: Lynx Points, Flame Points, Tortie/Torbie Points)
Maine Coon Mixes $250
Blue eyed & Fluffy $350
Bengal Purebreds $600

Sphynx $700
Ragdoll purebreds $700
Domestic kitties $125-$150
Seniors (5+ yrs) $100
Other Exotics varies depending on kitty
Our Refund Policy
We have been in rescue many years and we have received requests from adopters about refunds. We are a rescue and we understand that adopters may feel like we are profiting from the adoptions of cats but that's not the case. We try to be as fair as possible but we expect the same from our adopters. Here is our refund policy as it pertains to adoption donations:
-
If the cat your adopted is seriously ill within 14 days, we will refund up to $100 with vet documentation. However, refunds do not cover minor issues (URI, worms, diarrhea, etc) or behavior issues, pre-existing conditions and/or adopter's home-related problems.
-
Refund timeline - up to 2 weeks
-
Refunds are voided by any breach of the contract or threats to return the cat to a shelter.
Our Cat Return Policy
We do our best to match cat's with their new families, however, we are not perfect and can sometimes get it wrong. We are true believers in giving cats time that they need to acclimate. However, if you are unable to keep your cat, here are our policies:
-
You must return the cat to SOS or approved party
-
Any new home must be SOS approved via an SOS application
-
There will be NO REFUND if the cat is returned due to not meeting the adopter's expectations.
-
Donations may be refundable at SOS's discretion but only after the cat is returned.
-
Bonded pairs must be returned together - no exceptions.
-
Adopter must be willing to foster the cat/s, sign a release form and ensure that they are up-to-date on their vaccines.
Your Commitment to Your Cat
Your pet is not merchandise. . You are not buying a "perfect made-to-order" item. You are adopting a cat who needs a home. Your responsibility is to provide further veterinarian care...if needed, as needed and make this sweet kitty whole and a loved part of your family for its natural life span.
